Why use 21c to learn Teeline shorthand in Sussex?

Our unique approach to Teeline shorthand

21c Shorthand was established in 2007 to provide flexible training for anyone wishing to learn shorthand or improve their note taking skills. Our aim is to offer highly individual training, tailored to your exact requirements (so no time is spent covering unnecessary work), brought to you personally at your work or home on a date and time which fits into your working week.

Our principal trainer, Nicki Jones, has nearly 20 years experience of using Teeline within a high-level professional environment and teaching Teeline to secretarial and journalism students at a number of training colleges in the Sussex area. She is committed to providing a high level of service and ensuring that you complete your training with success (testimonials are available).

Training is 100% tutor-led (face to face) which means that help and advice is on hand immediately during sessions. You will see shorthand being demonstrated rather than studying outlines alone and learn with an enthusiastic trainer who will boost your momentum and increase your confidence.

A range of modules is offered to suit all abilities and training is tailored to suit your individual requirements - please see Modules. Intensive one-off sessions can also be provided.

Training takes place at your work or home on a date and time convenient for you. We do not have training premises, so if your training is to be held at your offices we just need you to arrange a room for us to use for the sessions. To make a booking, just advise when you'd like training to start and we can produce a schedule of dates accommodating any holiday/work commitments that you might have. We aim to be as flexible as possible which is why we do not offer a series of course dates throughout the year - training is at your request.

Payment for training is up-front (BACS, cheque or credit card) and all course materials are provided at no additional charge (text books, writing materials, revision notes, speed building CD's etc).

You also have the choice of training individually or forming your own group if you have other colleagues interested in learning at the same time - great for interactive discussions, motivation and encouragement. We are happy to offer a discount for group bookings.

So it couldn't be simpler – we bring the training to you personally, tailored to your exact requirements, provide all your course materials, on a date and time of your choice.

At 21c we believe that by offering you choice your training will be more effective, fun and relaxed. Our approach will undoubtedly increase your potential for learning and will help ensure that your training is successful.
